CUETS' Saurette Acknowledged for Outstanding Customer
Service
Winnipeg - Winnipeg's rapidly growing contact centre
industry turned out in force November 7th for the 2001
Manitoba Excellence in Customer Contact Achievement
(MECCA) Awards. With more than 500 guests in attendance,
the industry acknowledged its customer service stars
and announced the winning organizations in a number
of categories.
CUETS' Patrick Saurette, bilingual Cardholder Services
Representative, earned recognition for his outstanding
effort, flexibility and positive attitude, both on and
off the phones. "He's been a very strong addition
to the team," reported supervisor and award nominator
Vivian Smith. "We're very proud of the service
he provides to cardholders and for the support he provides
to his colleagues.
"Much of Patrick's success can be attributed to
his consistency," added Smith. "We know he'll
be in top form every day."
Patrick grew up in Winnipeg and recognized that his
language skills and proficiency in customer service
would be a good fit in the city's growing call centre
sector. He joined CUETS in May after gaining experience
at one of Winnipeg's larger contact centres. "So
far it's been great," Saurette reported to his
nine colleagues at the gala event. "Originally
I started working with CUETS through a temporary hiring
agency. It was somewhat of a coincidence and even more
of a blessing in disguise. It only took a couple of
weeks for me to notice the distinct advantages that
were offered while working in this great environment.
It is one which offers not only the proper tools to
get the job done and impressive benefits, but also the
most genuinely friendly staff, including co-workers,
management and anyone else, that I have had the pleasure
to meet through CUETS. "
Earlier today, Service Centre Manager Brenda Tolpa
surprised Patrick with a $200 award for his special
achievement "The cash and gift will go nicely with
the glass trophy he received, and we are more than happy
to help him celebrate!"
