New CEO for Regina-based Electronic Transaction Services
Company
Regina -- Stan Kuss was today welcomed to the position
of Chief Executive Officer for CU Electronic Transaction
Services Inc. (CUETS), the credit union system's national
card-based financial services company. Kuss fills the
position created by the early retirement of longtime CUETS
CEO Chuck Kitchen on June 30, 1995.
Kuss is a veteran planner and administrator with 23 years
of management experience in the Alberta credit union system.
"He will provide strong leadership and direction for CUETS
in the years ahead," said Sid Bildfell, Chairman of CUETS
Board of Directors. "Stan has a solid background in credit
union retail services and possesses excellent skills in
strategic planning, policy development and financial management.
His proven track record for achieving measurable results
speaks well of his ability to make sound decisions and
work well in a cooperative environment."
CUETS has grown steadily since its inception in 1981 and
now employs more than 90 people in Regina. They are involved
in delivering all aspects of a wide array of Credit Union
MasterCard and other electronic payment services to more
than 600,000 cardholders at 575 credit unions in nine
provinces.
CUETS is owned by Credit Union Central of Saskatchewan,
Credit Union Central of Alberta and Credit Union Central
of Ontario.
